For bullets and victims, NYPD reported 6 shot in Queens with 2 dead. 1 in Jamaica dead, 1 in Kew Garden Hills dead and 2 shot and 1 shot in LIC. Another shot in Astoria. 6 shot in the Bronx, Brooklyn and Manhattan. This is in the 24 hour span from New Year's Eve to New Year's Day. Also, shots fired in Kew Garden Hills in the public housing, Pomonok. 

For coronavirus, statewide reported 219,253 tested with 16,497 positive cases at 7.52% total ratio. 166 deaths and 7,886 total hospitalizations. For NYC, 3,419 positive cases with 219 new hospitalizations. The 7 day average positivity rate is 9.41%. By Monday, the mayor is expected to make announcement if the rate goes above 10% for public schools status.
