Male shot in Queens Village

Police reported a 31 year old male shot in Queens Village. It happened around 5:30am on 212 Street near 98th Avenue. Police stated the victim heard loud noise and went to open the door. That's when he was shot reporting it was a home invasion. The victim is in stable condition at a local hospital. Ongoing investigation.
