28.6 miles of bike lanes added in NYC

For the year 2020, NYC reported 28.6 miles of protected bike lanes in the five boroughs. This is the longest done in a single year. Along with bike lanes, designated road closures resulted less cars and more people walking. The city's goal is to add 50 miles of bike lanes and 20 bus lanes by 2021.
