Two men busted for robbery in Valley Stream

Fifth Squad detectives report the arrests of two (2) Queens men for a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 6:12 pm in Valley Stream.

According to detectives, two (2) unknown males were passengers in a transport van in the vicinity of Green Acres Mall.  One of the passengers repeatedly removed his mask from his nose and mouth.  The male driver, 60, had a verbal argument about the mask remaining on at all times.  The van made a stop to allow the passengers to exit.  The male from the altercation punched the victim in his neck and a second subject (Parker) removed an undisclosed amount of money from the victim’s hand.  The subject fled the scene.

A thorough investigation was conducted.  Frederick Thomas, 24, of 22-88 Mott Avenue, Far Rockaway and Tajh Parker, 19, of 149-14 211 Street, Cambria Heights, were arrested.

Defendants Thomas and Parker are charged with Robbery 2nd Degree.  They will be arraigned on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Mineola.
