Woman arrested for burglary in North Hills

The Sixth Squad reports the arrest of a Mineola woman for a Burglary that occurred on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. in North Hills.

According to Detectives, a female victim entered her Chestnut Hill residence and found a female subject in her home putting property in a bag. As the victim confronted the subject she attempted to flee and shoved the victim. Another member of the residence heard the altercation and came downstairs. Both victims were able to keep the subject under control until police arrival. When officers arrived, they placed the defendant Kimberly Ann Reill, 27, of 38 Raff Avenue, into custody. A further investigation found the defendant to be in possession of what is believed to be heroin.

The defendant Kimberly Ann Reill has been charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Robbery 3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. She will be arraigned on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Mineola.
